Produced from FDA compliant raw material (FDA CFR.21 and EU 10/2011).
The special technopolymer contains additives detectable by means of metal detectors.
Built-in zinc alloy toothed insert for coupling to the metal clamping element.
The RAL 5001 blue colour is easily visible in case of accidental food contamination. Furthermore the material additives are metal detectable at a cubic particle size of 5mm per side.

E+G EKK-SST-SAN Knurled grip

Glass-fibre reinforced polyamide based (PA) with silver ion additive on an inorganic base, RAL 7021 grey-black colour (C1) or RAL 9016 white (C16), matte finish. The special antibacterial additive prevents bacteria on the product surface.

The controlled release mechanism of the silver ions keeps the antibacterial characteristics unchanged over time, even after several washing cycles. Furthermore the material additives are metal detectable at a cubic particle size of 5mm per side.

The high temperature resistance of the additive used allows its use even in sterilisation cycles (130°C). It's therefore suitable for applications in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries and many more.
