Information about rod ends and spherical plain bearings

What are rod ends and and spherical plain bearings?
Rod ends and spherical plain bearings are machine parts made according to DIN ISO 12240 (formerly DIN 648) and ready for assembly. They are used to ensure movement between shaft and housing without problems, especially where the movement is not directly linear.

Brd. Klee has been the Danish distributor of Fluro for more than 40 years. Founded in 1976, Fluro Gelenklager is a family-run German manufacturer of rod ends, rod bearings and accessories.

We offer rod ends and rod bearings in series E and K. Also for motorsport, where the durability requirements are extra high.

The Fluro product range consists of spherical plain bearings in all series (DIN ISO 12240-1) and rod ends in series K and E (DIN12240-4), as well as hydraulic rod ends with welding surface or internal thread for fixed mounting using screws and the Motorsport series.

Fluro is quality approved according to DIN EN ISO 9001. With a machine park of a very high standard, Fluro is able to turn, grind and mill with the greatest precision.

Where are rod ends and spherical plain bearings used?
