Cardan shafts are complete shafts, and typically consist of a cardan (the middle part itself), and at each end there is a welding fork that is connected to a cross joint which is in turn connected to the flange.

Series 0.100. Elbe cardan shafts with extension offers torque up to 35,000 Nm. Max. bending angle up to 35 degrees. With flange or hub (shaft connection) or with welding stud.
