They are available in many different varieties to fit all industrial applications requiring high clamping forces.

Where are toogle clamps used?

In all applications where there is a need for quick and safe opening and locking of a component.

Types and materials

Elesa-Ganter clamps are available in the following types:
  • Vertical and horizontal
  • Push and pull types
  • Latch clamp
  • Pneumatic clamps
  • Power clamps

The clamps are available in galvanized/electro-galvanized steel, as well as polished or stainless steel.

Vertical clamp

A vertical clamp has a operating lever when the handle is locked when in vertical position.
Example of this type: GN 810

Horizontal clamp

A horizontal clamp has a operating lever that is locked in horizontal position.
Example of this type: GN 820

Push and pull clamp

A push and pull clamp is characterized by the lever pulling and pushing the pin from open to locked position.
Example of this type: GN 841

Latch clamp

A latch clamp is characterized by having some form of hook/buckle that can engage a barb, and then be clamped in and locks the component.
Example of this type: GN 851

Pneumatic clamp

These clmaps are, as the name indicates, simply a clamp, where instead of manual force, pneumatics are used to open and lock the component. These are available in both horizontal and vertical versions.
Example of this type: GN 863

Power clamp

Power clamps are also pneumatic clamps, although these are smaller in size but have a very large clamping force and use far less air. These are also available in vertical and horizontal versions.
Example of this type: GN 864
