Hahn gas springs

Brd. Klee is Danish importer and distributor of gas springs from Hahn Gasfedern that is a Stabilus-company based in Germany where all production takes place. Hahn has its own in-house department for development and testing facilities. Hahn has approx. 275 employees.

Brd. Klee supply the IndustryLine series from Hahn where we at our own workshop at Brd. Klee fill nitrogen and supplies individual end caps and fittings. The latter is smart if you are unsure which pressure you need. We then fill the gas spring with excess pressure, and you lower the pressure yourself to the desired level. If you need further gas springs, you send the first back to Brd. Klee, and we measure the pressure and in future deliver the desired pressure to you.

Hahn double stroke springs

The double-stroke springs have been developed for heavy flaps with a large opening angle, which are characterized by a low starting and a high ultimate force. These springs have two pressure cylinders that can be filled differently and thus are able to cover two force ranges. The compression of the piston rod generates a bent characteristic curve, which can be better adjusted to the force progression of the flap.

Double-stroke springs are specially designed for the application you require. The force ranges are exactly attuned to each other and adapted to the required kinematics. Stabilus IndustryLine double-stroke springs are available in steel, AISI 303/304 and AISI 316L/316Ti.

Hahn tension springs

The tension springs are used for all applications where normal gas springs cannot be used for lack of space. Tension springs work in the opposite way to gas springs. The gas pressure in the cylinder pulls the piston rod towards the inside. The spring force F1 results from the internal pressure in the cylinder, which is generated by the filling medium nitrogen. In the tension spring, the piston ring area between the piston rod and the inside cylinder diameter is decisive. When no load is applied, the piston rod is always compressed.

We offer our tension springs in various materials: Steel; Stainless steel V2A (AISI 304); Stainless steel V4A (AISI 316)

Hahn sliding door dampers

Sliding door dampers SDD are made for a smooth dampening and closing of sliding doors and other applications involving linear moved masses of ca. 40-400 kg.
The Sliding Door Gas Spring is Stabilus’ inexpensive entry-level product. With the Sliding Door Damper Stabilus offers a real door-damper innovation into the market.

Application and Function

The Sliding Door Damper (SDD) provides a harmonious and safe damping, even when closing heavy doors, windows and drawer of 60-400 kg. Its novel design and suitability for linear moved masses of more than 100 kg make the SDD a value-adding product for many industries. Depending on the speed and weight of the door, we do have the suitable SDD for your application.

The Sliding Door Damper is a spring-damper element that combines the functions of two gas springs and one oil damper. Three functions are thus combined:

cushioned docking
degressive braking
gentle closing

By the assist of additional assembly slots at the end of the housing, the installation becomes very easy and flexible.
